While we do not boast an ocean view, we are located 150 yards from the rugged Pemaquid coast and lighthouse. Pemaquid has a pine-treed sandy beach located near the old fort and restoration area (the site of three of the most ancient forts in the country). We are a 45 minute drive from Boothbay Harbor's shops and one hour from Camden's scenic harbor.
There are a variety of restaurants in the area (one next to the lighthouse serving breakfast, lunch and dinner). New Harbor (5 mins. by car) offers dine-in-the-ruff seafood restaurants and daily boat excursions to Monhegan Island.
