Covend Inn on - the - Shore ( Bar Harbor )
Nestled beneath tall pines and billowing maples, with the island's most panoramic view of Frenchman Bay and mountains of Acadia, Covend Inn offers guests the ambiance and charm expected from Downeast Maine. Our family-operated inn is located on Route 3 in the Village of Hull's Cove. From here, downtown Bar Harbor is a scant 3-mile drive and the Acadia National Park Visitor Center is only a half-mile from our door.
All of our guests are invited to enjoy our rowboat, or the outdoor hot tub. Both are great ways to relax and unwind after the day's activities. Each morning, let the aroma of fresh-brewed coffees and homemade blueberry muffins drift upstairs to your room and invite you down to the sun porch for an informal continental breakfast. We try to provide a selection which will appeal to everyone by including fresh fruits, juice, bakery items, cereal and milk and other seasonal surprises.
From our front lawn overlooking Frenchman Bay, a series of decks and stairs serve as a pathway to the beach and also offer sitting and viewing pleasure. People of all ages enjoy strolling along our beach and collecting various shells and sea glass.
