Riverside Bed & Breakfast

Reputedly the "most beautiful bed and breakfast in America," the Riverside Bed and Breakfast is housed in an Italianate mansion, originally built circa 1850 for a local shipbuilding tycoon. In 1998 it was purchased by the present owner, Marianna, a professional interior designer. Its restoration took three years, and today it is noted for its high Victorian style and luxurious appointments, including suites with Persian rugs, crystal chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, private boudoir, as well as private library in each room, and king-size beds outfitted with exquisite linen.
