The Victoria, an historic inn built in 1895 by a local landowner and cattle dealer is located in the heart of Bethel, a classic New England village. The inn has been lovingly restored with the décor and antiques of the Victorian period. Whether it's a romantic getaway to this charming town, a week of winter fun on the slopes and trails, a fall foliage excursion or a summer retreat, The Victoria has a guest suite waiting for you.

Guests enjoy a full breakfast of seasonal fruits, quiche and breakfast meats.

Bethel village nestled in the foothills of the Longfellow Range of the White Mountains has been a favorite of summer vacationers since the 1800's, when city folk came to refresh themselves in the clean mountain air.

Bethel has become a year round resort with alpine skiing at nearby Sunday River Ski Resort, Mt. Abram Ski Resort, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing and fishing in the White Mountain National Forest, golf and tennis.

The village of Bethel, Maine is home to unique craft shops, the NTL Institute for Behavioral Training, Gould Academy and the Bethel Historical Society and the Dr. Moses Mason House Museum.

The Victoria Restaurant with its three dining rooms offers gourmet evening dining. During the summer months luncheon and high tea are served. The two smaller dining rooms each with working fireplaces offer intimate dining. The larger dining room is decorated with hand-painted murals depicting scenes of the Cambrian countryside and Venetian canals.

The menu features Filet Mignon, Veal Piccata, Lobster Ravioli, Oriental Vegetable Platter, and Chicken Victoria.

The Victoria is ideal for small, intimate weddings where family and close friends are your most important consideration. The Inn can accommodate wedding parties of 12 to 40 guests on-premise for accommodations, wedding ceremony, rehearsal dinner and reception.

Bethel offers a variety of locations for wedding ceremonies from a classic white steepled church to a country meadow, covered bridge or scenic hillside. Wedding services including floral decoration, photography, musicians, Scottish.Irish Bridal registry, and beauty salons are available.
