Since 1825, guests have sojourned to the Bear Mountain Inn for a truly unique and unforgettable Maine Bed and Breakfast experience. Waterford's Bear Mountain Inn is an all-season haven on Bear Lake for those who enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Each season features its own activities and special charm.

In the spring, summer, or fall begin your day at our Maine Bed and Breakfast by taking a boat or canoe to explore and fish our well-stocked lake while enjoying the wildlife and loons. Take a walk along Bear River or hike up Bear Mountain for breathtaking views of the lakes region of Maine. The Inn provides canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats for our guests use.

In the winter our guests enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, tubing, and snowmobiling. Guests may rent a snowmobile and connect to all the major snowmobile trails in Northern New England right from the Inn. Alpine skiing is enjoyed a short drive away at Sunday River or Shawnee Peak.
