Inn at Ferry Landing ( Deer Isle )
"Bed and Breakfast by the Sea" - A Deer Island, Maine waterside four bedroom b&b with an additional, self-sufficient cottage (2-3 bedroom)
The Inn at Ferry Landing is a lovingly restored 1840's farmhouse on the Eggemoggin Reach. Formerly the ferry landing station for Deer Isle's only link to the mainland. The B&B Inn is located at the end of a dead-end road and has superb views of the waters of Eggemoggin Reach as schooners sail by - many traveling to or from the nearby Wooden Boat School. Guests enjoy our beautiful beach in front of the inn and the star-filled sky at night. A private and undisturbed atmosphere for relaxation or romance. Each of our rooms has a private bath and wonderful waterview. Jean serves a full breakfast every morning for guests in the main house. We are open year-round.
The Mooring is a smartly restored cottage attached to the Inn. It is fully equipped with a complete kitchen, dining area, sitting area, sunroom and sundeck with great views of the water.
There are two bedrooms with waterviews; one has a queen-sized bed, the other has two twin beds as well as a 3/4 bed in its loft. Rental by the week, breakfast not included.
